What you saw: posts due between 9:00 and 9:40 went out late, in a batch, after the hour.
What it was: Facebook was refusing connections across the board that morning. Nothing was lost and nothing was posted twice.
What changed: late posts now carry a line telling you they were late, so you are not left wondering.
18 August · 3 hours · pictures
What you saw: new pictures would not make. Posts still went out, with the pictures already approved.
What it was: the company that makes the pictures was down. Nobody's allowance was charged for a failed attempt.
What changed: a second supplier now takes over when the first one is out.
Nothing has been quietly deleted from this list. Incidents stay up for good, including the embarrassing ones.
