Why it cannot post to my personal profile
No tool can. You need a Page, a Business account or a company Page — this is how to switch.
This is not a limit of this product. None of the platforms lets an outside tool post to a personal profile, and none of them has for years — it is the line they draw between a person and a business.
On Facebook you need a Page. On Instagram you need a Business or Creator account — a Facebook Page is not required for that. On LinkedIn you need a company Page rather than your own profile.
Switching is free and quick in every case, and on Instagram it does not lose your followers, your posts or your handle. The guides on the help page walk through each one.
If your business genuinely runs from a personal profile, the honest answer is that this cannot help until that changes, and it is worth knowing before you pay for anything.
