Instagram keeps asking me to sign in again
Usually the link to the Facebook Page. Here is how to check it, and what happens to held posts.
Usually nothing is wrong. Instagram hands out access sixty days at a time rather than permanently, so being asked again is the normal end of a period rather than a fault, and signing in takes seconds.
If it is happening more often than that, check two things. The account has to be a Business or Creator account rather than a personal one. And if you connected it through a Facebook Page, you have to still be able to manage that Page — this is the one that catches people out, because losing access to a Page can happen without anybody telling you.
An Instagram professional account does not need a Facebook Page to be connected at all. If the Page is the part giving you trouble and you do not use it for anything else, connecting Instagram on its own is the shorter road.
While it is asking, posts for that account are held rather than lost. They sit on This week marked held back, with the reason beside them, and they go out once you have signed in again.
Everything on your other accounts carries on as normal in the meantime. One account having trouble does not stop the rest.
