Posts scheduled past that date are not sent. They stay visible until the account closes so you can copy anything you wanted to keep, and you can export the lot — every post, picture, thread and fact it learned — as files anyone can open.
Your work stays available for 30 days after the account closes, and anything deleted is gone from the backups within 14 days after that.
